About me

Hi I'm Sam!

I’ve worked in Communications, Marketing and Social Media for both further and higher education for over 13 years, building up an extensive range of skills and experience.

I am currently working on a freelance basis, providing copywriting, communications support and social media management for various businesses from an online course provider to a charity.

Alongside this I run an award-nominated interiors and DIY blog, launching in 2015, and growing to a total audience to over 85k followers on social media. During this time I have created engaging written and social content for household brands including Sainsbury’s, Hobbycraft & Homesense.

I have also written for and been published in print in a number of publications and the national press, including Laura Ashley’s blog, and magazines Closer, Mollie Makes and Real Homes. You can read more about my previous work here.
